Hello, I’m Jennifer

I'm a qualified Psychotherapist registered with the British Association for Counselling (BACP) and Psychotherapy, with a Masters degree in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling from Regents University.

At JS Therapy, I offer online therapy to support a range of issues, including but not limited to: anxiety, depression, bereavement and other forms of loss, relationship difficulties, confidence issues, issues with attachment, life transitions, trauma related concerns, childhood sexual abuse, hopelessness and loneliness, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, risky behaviours, sexual difficulties, abuse, shame, phobias, eating disorders, compulsions and personality disorders. The ultimate aim is to support you towards an improved quality of life, to empower you to move through any challenges and have a life more aligned with what you hold important.

I’m trained in various approaches, and draw upon them as needed to offer bespoke sessions tailored to you.

My Approach

Collaborative

Having a confidential space to talk can bring enormous relief in itself and simply articulating what's on your mind to somebody trained to listen can help create a meaningful shift. But if we work together, I will also be noticing patterns and making links, and I will be interested in how your past might affect how you experience the world now and how we can make changes to unhealthy patterns that are no longer serving you.

Tailored approach to fit your needs

I offer a compassionate, adaptable approach tailored to each individual. Drawing on a range of evidence-based methods—including Person-Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic approaches, CBT, and Transactional Analysis—I will work collaboratively with you to shape sessions around your specific needs and goals.

What Clients are Saying

"Jennifer is a wonderful therapist that I have come across. She really understands me and asks me the right set of questions to really open me up. Would definitely recommend her!"

Client, BetterHelp

“When I began my sessions I wasn't really sure how they would help me. It was a place I could share my feelings and thoughts and to feel accepted and feel that those feelings are normal. This helped to come to terms with grief and loss.”

Client, Cruse

"Jennifer took the time to really listen to my issues. I was worried at first as had not been in therapy before, but I immediately felt at ease in our first initial session. She was empathic, supportive and I have been able to to make dramatic changes."

Client, Bupa

“I was apprehensive about the telephone sessions but they were preferable to anything else, I needn't have been as the counsellor was wonderful and put me at ease right from the start. She gave me time to talk, time to cry and be thoughtful, something I would never have thought possible in a telephone conversation. I felt she genuinely cared about me and wanted to help, I wasn't just part of the day job. .. An altogether beautiful caring human being.  You can share these comments.”
